Like many who grow up in New York City, Alise Robinson has always dreamed big. She also seems to have always known exactly who she is and where her passion lies. When she was young, one of her older brothers asked Alise, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" She answered enthusiastically and with confidence, "I want to create something - make it and sell it." Spoken like the true innovative brand marketer she would one day become! Mind Machine is the continuation of her story...
Prior to launching Mind Machine, Alise Robinson acquired an impressive breadth and depth of experience in the children’s entertainment, toy and licensing industries. As Executive Director of Consumer Products at The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company in Manhattan, she pioneered the toy division and spearheaded all related brand and product development, marketing and licensing initiatives. She traveled the globe – India, England, Canada, Germany, and beyond - and thoroughly immersed herself in the work, putting her heart and soul into every aspect of the business. During this time, Alise was named one of License! Magazine’s “top 40 under 40” licensing executives.
Soon after her tenure at The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company, Alise harnessed her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creating original content and brought it to her next successful endeavor: publishing. She added 'published author' to her resume when she created the popular children's book series, Space Craze.
